Are you an individual, community group, local charity or business which made a significant contribution to the social, environmental or economic well-being of the town in 2021? Did you go above and beyond in making a difference and having a positive impact on the life and place of Cirencester.

This award will be judged by the Town Council’s Corporate Group and includes recognition of the winner, through the presentation of the Clive Sherwood Cup.

The Clive Sherwood Cup was originally awarded by the Council for achievement in sport. Clive Sherwood, who was a long-serving and valued member of staff at Cirencester Town Council, was due to retire as Deputy CEO in late 2013, but sadly passed away following an illness. Colleagues and Councillors, felt it appropriate that after his years of commitment to the local community he should be remembered in a positive way.
